Olivetti Olipad coming on 7 March – 399€
While everyone else was in Hanover for CeBIT last week, Olivetti decided to launch Italy’s firs tablet. The Olivetti Olipad will hit the market on 7March, and it will be sold TIM and Telecom Italy stores. I didn’t find specific details, but the press release mentioned that it will be sold with data plans.
It’s based on a 10″ screen (1024×600), and it’s running Android v2.2 on a Tegra2 CPU with 16GB Flash storage, a microSD card slot, Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, a 1.3MP camera. It doesn’t appear to have Market access, but Olivetti will be providing one.

Welcome to Reviews eBook Readers . Here you will find all about eBook Readers from what is the best eBook Readers to how to solve eBook Readers problems. But first let’s see what a eBook Reader is.
There are tons of uses for the new ebook reader. These handheld devices make it possible to read anywhere you are. The books can be downloaded so that no internet access is needed to open and browse through the story.
Amazon Kindle 3 with wireless and 3G. It is the best selling ebook reader.
This is a wonderful gift for the avid book lover. Around the holidays, many people search for the right gift. These devices are lightweight and durable. The systems that allow these machines to go online and search for books make it possible to get any kind of book you are interested in.
Sony ebook reader. The advantage of Sony reader is touch screen.
Perfect for people who are always doing home improvement products, they can provide helpful information on the go when someone is going through the store looking for a specific item because you can have the manual right at your fingertips.
How-to manuals are just one type of helpful book that can be downloaded, stored and read on a portable ebook reader. They are also perfect for the busy student. There is tons of research that has to be done when someone is attending college, no matter what level of academia it is. The need for and the desire to use paper products has severely diminished in the last few decades, as people have become more aware of the need to be environmentally conscious.
It costs a lot less to print a story in ebook form that it does in paperback. In fact, it is virtually free. This means that when someone purchases a book or story in this form, they will not need to pay exorbitant prices. This can be vital to a college student that is working themselves through college.
People who travel frequently also find these devices to be a necessity. There is nothing worse than having to take a long bus, train or airplane trip and being subjected to someone else choice of entertainment. For many, putting in earplugs and sitting back with a top of the line ebook reader is the perfect answer.

Cute or Not?

I’m trying to decide if this sweater from J. Crew is cute or not. I love the shape, but I’m not so sure about the print. I know the price (5) is really outside my usual range for sweaters.
What do you think?

Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR is the new star in ebook readers world. Everyone praises iPhone Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR reader but what is my verdict? Read this NOOK COLOR review and find out!
Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR display
Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR Storage
Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR portability
Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR autonomy
Conclusion
Where to buy Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR
Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR display
The most important feature for a eBook reader is the display quality. I like Kindle because the ink technology offer comfort for eyes. I can read for hours on my Kindle without any headache. The drawback of ink display is the lack of backlit, so you cannot read in the dark. But enough about Kindle in this article, I’ll come those days with some Barnes & Noble Vs Amazon Kindle comparison articles.

Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR feature 7 inch VividView Color Touchscreen with more than 16 million colors. The resolution of display is 1024 x 600 delivering 169 pixels per inch (PPI).
You can read your favorite books in the dark because Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR has display with backlit. Also, reduced glare and optimum brightness for reading indoors or outside.

Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR Storage
Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR feature 8GB (up to 6000 eBooks) built in memory. You can easily expand the memory up to 32GB with microSD memory card. I think 8GB are enough but I like memory card option.

Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR portability
Is not a problem to carry around you new Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR as it is slim and light.
Height: 8.1 inches (205.74 millimeters)
Width: 5.0 inches (127 millimeters)
Depth: 0.48 inches (12.19 millimeters)
Weight: 15.8 ounces (447.92 grams)

Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR autonomy
I cannot think to Kindle when I talk about an eBook autonomy… Anyway, Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR autonomy is up to
8 hours with wireless off. Charge from a wall outlet using the in-box Power Adapter and USB Cable.
The charging time is approximately 3 hours from wall outlet.

Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR Conclusion
If you want a color display buy Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR. If you care about autonomy and ink technology read Kindle reviews and buy one.
Where to buy it
I find on amazon US Barnes & Noble NOOK COLOR best price.

Goodbye and Hello
So I think I’ve got the hang of this blogging thing now. Enough that I want to expand what I write about. And I didn’t really think I could do that here. So my new blog is called On An Even Keel.
While this blog was mostly about books and reading, I’m going to be writing about a lot more now. And it just seemed a good occasion to start a new blog.
I hope you’ll visit me on my new blog. It’s a little spare right now, but I’ll be adding stuff soon. (Don’t forget to update your RSS feeds if you use a feed reader).
